Important steps in cross-border cooperation for education and integration
The Tulcea County Youth Foundation (FJTT) had the honor of being invited by our partners in Ukraine, the Association of Ukrainian Regions “EU Strategy for the Danube Region,” to an event of great importance for our communities.
On April 20–21, 2026, we participated in Odessa in the workshop organized as part of the ROUA00342 project:
“Improving Access to Education in Border Regions as a Key Factor for Socialization and Integration in the EU,” funded by the Interreg VI-A NEXT Romania-Ukraine Program 2021–2027.
Under the theme “Educational Bridges between Ukraine and Romania: Strategies for Integration and Socialization in Border Regions,” the event brought together experts and educators with the aim of:
• Analyzing best practices in education from both regions.
• Identify innovative methods for teaching the Romanian language.
• Facilitate and accelerate the process of European integration through cross-border dialogue.
